I ate 23 dumplings at lunch at Shanghai Dumpling today. No easy feat but I managed.
I ordered the chilli oil dumplings. Tara ordered the mushroom and vegetable dumplings and the spicy beef dumplings. Farn ordered noodles cos she’s a chicken dumpling chicken.

Dumpling looks like a funny word spelt wrong when you type it too many times.
Tara bought me a rickshaw from india so I drove it between the bottomless cups of tea and soy sauces and other condiments.

Parp! Parp!

OMG. Shanghai Dumpling was MY place when I lived in Melbourne. Haven’t been there nearly two years now. I ache for it sometimes. Seeing your photos of the little red bowls has brought it all back!
Reading your blog today has made me long for Melbourne in a way I haven’t longed for a while. I hope you are loving living there as much as I did.
Beautiful words and pictures
Your sweet comment really lifted my spirits, I do love Melbourne, and of course Shanghai Dumpling, I have never had anything short of a great time there. You really made my evening, thank you!
You’re welcome
I couldn’t let this post pass without making some comment! It’s Shanghai Dumpling!
I actually used to read your livejournal site too, but I don’t think I ever commented….
Thank you for your comments on my blog too.
Man, I need some dumplings now.
Have you been to Cookie yet? My favourite place for cocktails.
Whoa, you did?
I have been to Cookie, yes. I’ve had a few gin and tonics on their little balconies.
I’m always in the mood for dumplings so if you ever decide to come back..
x
Yeah, sorry, I was a lurker
I’m back for a wedding in October so I’ll definitely be hanging out for dumplings! I’ll remind you closer to the time
