Street Music

Yesterday I woke to the sound of drums. The occasion, the Feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel. I looked out of the window and there were people drinking and dancing in the street to a marching band. I can’t possibly explain how much I love street bands. I got a telephoto lens and sneaked a better view. Sometimes I love living in the ghetto.

  1. Guess this is everywhere, but at a totally different level in Bandra. I remember that Sunday when I was leaving home, and there was this marriage happening with all these musicians playing and people dancing. There was an old ambassador car trailing behind them that caught my attention coz its dicky was open. Out of curiosity, I went to take a look, and what I saw was something I had never seen before. They had 4 huge plastic cans loaded with beer, and they were offering it to literally everyone! :)
